Dear AYSO Parents, We hope this message finds you well during these challenging and difficult times. The State, County, City, and AYSO guidelines have allowed our region the opportunity to "Restart Play" in a safe and socially distanced manner with return to fields in the next few weeks. The Health and Safety of our players is the utmost of importance. As part of the "Restart of Play" protocols, teams that begin to practice in the near future will do so "socially distanced" (Phase 1) until the State allows for progression into contact in small groups (Phase 2), then on to full team scrimmages (Phase 3), and lastly to regular games (Phase 4). We'll follow the State, County, and City guidelines as well as timing through each Phase with careful consideration for each player. Again, Health and Safety are paramount as we begin to bring players back onto the field. AYSO has played a meaningful role in our community for many years bringing exercise, friendships, competition as well as many other intangibles that are a part of our daily lives and the COVID-19 pandemic has played havoc on those activities. We are excited to "Restart Play" and work towards a tentative Fall Season start date of October 3, 2020. In order to play in our Fall Season, you'll need to sign up your child to play. Please go to https://www.ayso111.org/ to sign up and take advantage of the "Early Discount" of $50 off per player before August 31, 2020. If your child played in the Spring and you "Rolled Over" their registration fees, please contact our Registrar @ [email protected] to claim your registration code. In the event that the season is cancelled due to an additional COVID-19 outbreak, a players regional fees will be refunded minus any costs associated with start up of the season such as Uniforms, Field Use, etc... Our plan is to keep costs low in the event that there is another season cancellation, so that our families can receive a maximum refund due to these challenging times. We are excited to bring our quality, 100% Volunteer Soccer Program back for the Fall Season in a safe and healthy environment. Please direct any questions or comments you may have to Nick Russell at [email protected] Best wishes and see you back on the field soon!
