Setup 7U/8U Game Fields

How to Setup the Small-Sided
Game Fields for 7U and 8U

  • Note: We have broken the larger field Vista Hermosa 5 and Vista Hermosa 6 into five smaller fields or sub fields as follow: 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, 5-4, 5-5 for Vista Hermosa 5 (lower field) and 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-5 for Vista Hermosa 6 (Upper Field). The image below shows the layout for Vista Hermosa 5 and Vista Hermosa 6.
  • The width of each small-sided field goes from the Touch line to the outer edge of the Goal Area
  • The length of the field goes from the goal line to a yellow line that is marked on the field. Due to the sun, the lines are very faint now.
  • You will use the cones located in the Brown Toolbox by the stairs to mark the boundary lines of the game field. See image below for cone placements. You only need eight cones to mark the one touch line and goal line. Use the existing white line for the other touch line and goal line for the small-side game field.
  • After you have marked the field with the cones, you will need to setup two bow nets at each end of the game field for the goals.
